Scott Fitzgerald, who saw himself as a beautiful and intelligent man, always had a tendency to expose himself and to exceed. He was one of the most brilliant writers of his time (among them were Faulkner, Hemingway and John dos Passos). He married Zelda and with her lived crazy days, between parties and dances, alcohol and some scandals in between.
His books are extraordinary, I particularly enjoyed "The Beautiful and Damned" and "The Great Gatsby". His works are filled with characters with crazy and tragic stories, much like the author himself. Scott Fitzgerald, golden name of American Literature.
