Farewell Waltz (Milan Kundera)

Farewell Waltz

Why is it called the Farewell Waltz? Why Kundera puts us to dance with seven characters and the contradictions of each, because it fills the book of things that swing between the beautiful and the ugly, because it makes us reflect with tremendous wisdom and expertise about good and evil. At one point Kundera says: \\\\\"The desire for order is at once death wish, because life is perpetual violation of the order.\\\\\" A truly fabulous book by an author who long ago should have been named Nobel laureate.
